HELLENIC CUP JUNIOR TOURNAMENT 2008

A very successful 2008 Hellenic Cup Junior tournament has come to an end and the results of the finals on both days have been posted on our site.

The Hellenic Cup committee welcomed to Melbourne the committee, under 15 and under 16 teams together with parents and friends of West Adelaide Hellas who also competed in the tournament on both days, and it was very exciting and pleasurable to have West Adelaide Hellas compete in our first official tournament. Congratulations and thank you to West Adelaide Hellas.

Also present on the last day of the finals was Mr George Tactikos Managing Director of Bank of Cyprus Australia who presented trophies to some of the winning teams and also Mr Chris Voyias Senior Relationship Manager of the South Yarra branch of the Bank of Cyprus. A big thank you must go to the Bank of Cyprus for the very generous sponsorship of the Hellenic Cup Junior Tournament.

Also we wish to thank Only Sport for supplying the trophies and other sporting needs required during the tournament.

Congratulations to Bentleigh Greens SC for hosting such a wonderful four weeks of junior soccer.
